The diver Orient has trusted since the 1960s, refreshed for today.

The Orient Mako AA08 carries the design heritage of Orient's diver's watches back to the 1960s, built for high water resistance and everyday durability rather than sport-diving certification — Orient is explicit that this is not an ISO standard diver's watch, just a design that shares the DNA of one. The 41.8mm stainless steel case (46.8mm lug to lug, 12.8mm thick) is water resistant to 20 bar (200 metres), closed by a screw-down crown and protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal over a dial with bar indices and Luminous Light on hands and markers for genuine low-light legibility. A day-date window sits within the uni-directional rotating bezel's field of view, and the automatic in-house calibre F6922 delivers +25 to -15 seconds a day of accuracy with over 40 hours of power reserve, hacking seconds, and 22 jewels. Turn the case over and a dolphin is engraved on the caseback, a detail Orient has carried across the Mako family for decades. At Watchello the AA08 comes in four dial colours: a bright light blue, a clean white, a bold orange, and — new for Autumn/Winter 2026 — a purple gradation dial with a metallic, sunburst finish that shifts tone as the light moves across it. Every version sits on a SUS316L stainless steel bracelet with a trifold deployant buckle, push-button release, and security latch.
